An Anon Author
An-Anon-Author-Who-Will-Silently-Not-Reveal-Her-Identity-Because-She's-A-Coward is the self-given handle of the person who hacked Tara Gilesbie 's FF.n account and posted an actually coherent version of Chapter 39, as well as several of Tara's drafts for My Immortal. It remains unclear if "Anon-Author" merely refuses to give out her real name or if she is a member of Anonymous .
There are multiple theories surrounding the identity of the author:
- Raven wrote the chapter, in exasperation with Tara.
- The anonymous hacker is exactly who they say they are.
- Tara wrote Chapter 39, after having an epiphany and deciding that she needed to turn on spell check. However, this only lasted for one chapter, in which "Tara" makes fun of herself.
- If the real author of My Immortal is a troll, then they wrote the chapter after deciding that they needed a break from writing bad fanfiction.
