Rarely, a chapter of My Immortal will possess a title. While most literary works with chapters either always have a title for each chapter or no title for any chapter, Tara Gilesbie instead opts for the remarkable technique of only giving titles to certain chapters. The Anonymous Troll Author, on the other hand, always titles the chapters she posts.
Interestingly, in both I'm Not Okay and Ghost of You, all chapters are titled. Though, to be fair, both are extremely short.
Aside from the hacker chapters in My Immortal, all the chapter titles across the three fics are also song titles (and in My Immortal's case, usually ridden with spelling mistakes), such as 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' or 'Bring Me To Life'.
