Elvira is the name of Tara's self-insert in I'm Not Okay. She is yet another gothic friend that Eternity meets after she enters Hogwarts, and has no real unique characteristics. She could be considered an alternate Ebony, as a self-insert of Tara.
Her real name is Lindsay, like Lindsay Loan.[1] In the last chapter, she is sent all the way back to her first year, and placed in Griffyndoor, and it is revealed that she is incapable of spelling anything correctly.[1] (Rather like a person she was based on...) This was during the poster/sweater feud between Tara and Raven, in which they effectively wrote out their friend's insert characters (Elvira in I'm Not Okay, Willow in My Immortal). While that feud was quickly resolved, and Willow no longer being expelled, murdered and raped, Raven never did update I'm Not Okay after that, so whether Elvira's fate would have been undone is unknown.

Elvira is described as having purple hair with black tips. In her first appearance, she wears ripped jeans, and an Atreyu t-shirt.
