Eternity Demen'tia Johnson is the main character and Mary Sue of I'm Not Okay.
Eternity's parents committed suicide when she was two. She was then adopted by a set of abusive parents, and bullied at Los Angeles High School. When Hogwarts letters were sent to her, her adoptive parents refused to let her go. Why they were sending letters to someone in a different country, let alone one that has its own wizarding school, is unknown. She finally had to run away, and thus ended up going to Hogwarts at the age of 15.
Eternity, like Ebony, is in love with a goth version of Draco Malfoy. She meets him on the train there, at first angry for him taking a seat next to her. She very quickly forgives him, they introduce themselves to each other, then get off the train to Hogwarts.
Eternity is a pureblood, not that this actually comes up in any meaningful way later in the story.
In comparison to Ebony, Eternity actually has a defined backstory, a rather angsty and tragic similar to ones Tara gave characters (other than Ebony, oddly enough) in My Immortal. She also doesn't immediately start dating Draco right away, so it seems Raven wanted to build up to them getting together. However, she is still very much a Mary Sue, as she is moved up to her the 5th year after she unintentionally turns an ant into a unicorn. She is also consistently described as beautiful, and her beauty is envied by other characters.
Appearance[]
Eternity is described as having long, raven black hair with red streaks, deathly pale ivory skin, and piercing blue eyes "that would make any goth man's heart beat like a subway train." She is skinny, with curves in the right places. Her eyes are said to "still [bear] the sadness of the scars of her tragic past." In her first appearance, she wears a black leather corset, a ripped black miniskirt, and black combat boots.
