Flying Cars are a common form of transportation in the My Immortal universe. They are especially popular among the youthful goffs of Hogwarts, who frequently use their flying cars for trips to Hogsmede.

Differences from canon[]
In the original Harry Potter universe, only one flying car is shown in the whole series, which was owned by Ron's father, Arthur. Said car was actually an ordinary muggle car, which Arthur Weasley enchanted to fly. The reason for this rarity is that flying cars are a great danger to the International Statute of Secrecy, meaning they attract too much unwanted muggle attention and risk the exposure of the wizarding world. Therefore, using such a vehicle can get one into trouble with the Ministry for Magic.
In My Immortal, flying cars don't seem to be regulated at all, as teenaged wizards are allowed to own them. The frequency in which they are used also suggests they are a common method of travel.
