J. K. Rowling or "JKR" is the author of Harry Potter, the series that My Immortal is based on. It is not clear whether she has read My Immortal or not.
In Chapter Forty-Two, Tara mentions in an author's note; "omg I hope draco nd harry get 2getha dat will be so shmexxy, wont it?? If dey don’t den JKR is hamophobic!!!!!111111". Ironically, they did so in My Immortal, but later broke up, thanks to Britney. Needless to say, Harry and Draco do not canonically "get 2getha" in any of the books.
