Morty McFli's blak tim machine is a time-traveling vehicle owned by Morty McFli and later Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way.
While she was in the '80s, Morty gave it to Ebony in to let her return to her time, after which she uses it to travel through time on two more occasions. Each time after the first, though, she must first find it. It is capable of disguising itself as an iPod. This is probably because the tim machine isn't just any tim machine. It is a blak tim machine, meaning that it likely has special Vampire/goff powers.
Uses[]
- After Morti McFli gives it to her in Chapter Thirty-Five, Ebony uses it to return to the present.
- In Chapter Thirty-Seven, Ebony finds the tim machine in Professor Sinister's office, which she uses to avoid Albert Dumblydore by travelling to the '80s.
- The blak tim machine can be used to listen to music; it appears Morty McFli had downloaded "sh*tty Avril Levine" music onto it, as Dumblydore listened an Avril Lavigne song on the tim machine while Ebony visited the '80s.
- In Chapter Forty-Two, past!Dumblydore had found Ebony's iPod, which unbeknownst to him was the tim machine in disguise. Ebony used it to return to the present, but Satan followed her into the machine and ended up travelling forward with her.
Differences from the original[]
The original time machine from Back to the Future was a heavily modified car, specifically a DeLorean. The device in My Immortal, however, seems to be portable, as Morty was described as taking it out before giving it to Ebony. This machine could also transform into an iPod, while the original DeLorean has no transforming ability, apart from turning its wheels 90 degrees to enable flight. Another change is that the My Immortal version of this machine is black, while the original is a silvery gray.
