The Norse works at Hogwarts in the present day. Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way has, for an unknown reason, previously visited her office, which is located in the hospital's wings. Based on her name it is possible she is of Scandinavian descent or origin. She has no dialogue, so her personality is unclear.

Ebony cut her wrists with a steak after witnessing Draco Malfoy having sex with Serverus Snap, and somehow woke up back in 1980. Apparently, Hogwarts patients are taken to recover in the Norse's office. Either the Norse did not yet work at the school in 1980, or she went through a goffic phase, as Ebony notes that the office looked different and was adorned with a "pik of Marlyin Munzon" and calendar featuring the Beatles, goffic style.
