XBlakXTearX was a goffick band in the 80's. They played backup at a "Marlin Mason" concert in Hogsmeade, which was called Hogsment back then.
Role in the story
During one concert, Snap possessed James (or himself, as stated in the story) and caused James to shoot off Lucian's arm as punishment for playing a song incorrectly. This likely led to the band's breakup. Since Ebony prevented Lucian from losing his arm, it is unknown if XBlakXTearX is still around in the present day. Despite being from the 90's, the only song that they are shown performing is from the present day.
